Dr. Horrible part 3

  • Jul. 19th, 2008 at 11:20 AM
Although I think I liked the songs more in the first 2 parts, I enjoyed the conclusion of Joss Whedon's "Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog" and I hope this little exercise in madness is only the beginning.

Without spoiling things too much, it did seem to have Whedon's typical aversion to the pat, "happy ending" sort of conclusion, but it certainly left things open. I want *more* of both Captain Hammer and Dr. Horrible. And I couldn't help but notice so many names of "Buffy" and "Angel" writers in the closing credits in various capacities of the production, such as David Fury, Marti Noxon, and Drew Goddard. Whedon does have quite a creative group around him

Speaking of good ads

I love the musical Eureka ads! Such fun! But then, I love the show, so of course I'd love them. :-)
Hi! I'm new. I thought I'd host a LOLgate picspam in my journal, but then found out about this place.

I guess I've been living under a rock or something.

Anywhoo--

Burger King commercials

"You either discover a star or you *don't*. You arrogant *punk*."

I can't help it. I love these ads. And the best part is they don't have that creepy guy in the BK costume running around.

Fic Announcement

  • Jul. 18th, 2008 at 5:46 PM
The completely rewritten version of my Daniel-centered 10-part series, Lust. I hope you like it. :)
So, I finished my smut beta duties (what a, ahem, hardship). Keep your eyes open for some seriously hot J/D and J/Other, D/Other and J/D/Other action coming. Even as an OTPer, this is well worth it.

And, I'm prepping to enjoy an SPN marathon this weekend. I want to watch it again from the beginning, but I've got some things to do before I start. Kid's at her dad's still so there won't be any interruptions. ;-) But... new DW tonight! WHEEE!

ETA: And [info]riverfox has made her announcement, so go read the revised and completed Lust! Highly appropriate title. :-)
